Well that was a good Christmas weekend. Got some nice presents, ate way too much, and had some family time. Didn't rest too much though lol.
I've been playing a game called Sacred. If you've played Diablo, it's similar to that. Isolinear 3rd person adventure RPG. For the layman... it's an overhead view at a slight angle. Like an RPG your character levels up and you can choose your own "path". Like an adventure you have to run between towns and save the population. The story is a little thin so far (I'm near the end) but I think it's because the developers wanted it to be nonlinear. That is, you aren't forced to follow the main quest in order to advance your character. All in all it's pretty good and for ten bucks you can't beat it.
I'll just have to tear myself away more often to come back and check the board. Shame on me for not showing up for three days. And not posting for five!
Request: y'all help me find some good burning software. I'm trying to burn a copy of my game so I can keep the original disc in a safe place and just play with the copy. So far I've been able to copy the CD but the copyright protection recognizes the copied CD as pirated and will not start the game. So far I've tried Adaptech, Nero, and Alcohol 120. Also tried direct copy CD to CD, and tried converting the disc info into an .iso file and burning the image to a new CD. Five discs later I have a whole bunch of install discs but none of them will play the game. Oh well... time to do some more research.
Later all! Happy New Year too!
